If this sounds like an opportunity you'll love, please start your application today!ResponsibilitiesComplete night audit procedures, including balancing and reconciling all financial transactionsReview and verify cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, room charges, and guest foliosPrepare and distribute daily audit reports, along with weekly and monthly summaries for managementMaintain accurate records of occupancy, revenue, and hotel performance dataPerform front desk duties during overnight hours, including guest check-in and check-out as neededRespond to guest inquiries and assist with requests or concerns in a professional mannerCoordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for any overnight service needsEnsure proper completion of end-of-day system procedures and reportsMaintain a secure and organized front desk area throughout the shiftProvide consistent, professional customer service to all guests during overnight hoursVerify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentagesEnsure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the propertyRespond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, resolve guest complaints, and other front office duties as requiredComplete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requestedProduce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general managerQualificationsStrong communication and customer service skills requiredAbility to work overnight shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as neededHigh school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferredPrevious experience in front desk, guest services, night audit, or hospitality is helpful but not requiredBasic computer proficiency required; ability to learn hotel systems and software quicklyExperience with hotel reservation or accounting systems is a plusAbility to work independently and stay organized during overnight hoursStrong attention to detail, especially with financial and reporting tasksFlexible overnight hours are requiredFront desk clerk duties, guest services, night auditor or previous hospitality experience is preferred but not requiredMust be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonusDiploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desiredOutstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are requiredCompensation $16 hourly About Aloft Newport on the LeveeFounded in 2005, Rolling Hills Hospitality operates 15 hotel properties with a central focus on exceeding the expectations of its guests.
