Our Irvine, CA, location plays a vital role in our Forged Products division by producing jet engine components for aerospace customers.We are currently seeking a forging technician at our Irvine, CA location. This role assists press operators by performing a variety of tasks supporting the forging process of high-performance materials used in jet engine components for the aerospace industry.A successful forging technician works collaboratively with the team, possess a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to accurately execute written work instructions.Position responsibilities include:Preparing metal stock for forging, positioning hot metal stock on hot dies, and extracting hot forgings from diesCompleting quality assurance and part tracking documentationPreparing thermocouple wiringOperating a forklift following safe work practicesOther duties as assigned by supervision
