Arlo Washington D.C., part of Renwick Hospitality (Lindens, Altair, Lulla, Foxtail), is seeking warm, poised, hospitality‑driven Hosts to join our team.

Our property features two distinct guest experiences: the restaurant at Arlo Washington D.C. , serving breakfast beginning at 6:30 AM , and ART DC , our energetic rooftop bar and lounge offering sweeping views and vibrant evening service. Hosts are the first point of contact for every guest—and the heartbeat of the floor in both spaces.

We’re looking for individuals who bring warmth, precision, and a deep commitment to hospitality in every interaction.

As a Host, you’ll help shape the guest experience from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests with poise and positivity, setting the tone for their visit and showcasing Arlo Washington D.C. through genuine hospitality.

• Seating guests according to the floor plan, balancing pacing, flow, and guest preferences across breakfast service and rooftop evenings.

• Supporting management in creating and adjusting the daily floor plan, and sharing relevant updates during pre‑shift meetings. Understanding the “why” behind the layout is essential.

• Taking phone numbers for walk‑ins and ensuring guests are added to OpenTable for future outreach and relationship‑building.

• Answering phones with warmth and clarity, assisting guests with restaurant information, rooftop access, room service questions, and general inquiries.

• Assisting with water service and table resets, supporting the floor team during busy moments. Team prioritization means stepping in wherever needed.

• Managing waitlists and reservations via OpenTable, communicating accurate wait times and updates with grace and transparency.

• Staying observant and proactive, anticipating guest needs and creating golden moments through small gestures and thoughtful timing.

• Learning and upholding Renwick Hospitality’s service standards, adapting as we evolve through opening and seasonal rooftop operations.

• Bringing your unique personality—warmth, curiosity, and care—to every interaction with guests and teammates.

• Availability 4–5 days per week , including weekends and holidays

• Ability to work early breakfast shifts (starting at 6:30 AM) and/or evening rooftop shifts

• Completion of Renwick Hospitality standards training (provided)

• Comfort with OpenTable and basic phone/email communication

• A willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a special team
