At Genesis House, our HOST team plays an essential role in shaping the guest experience through warmth, precision, and thoughtful service.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $25.00)

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive, manage reservations, and efficiently guide them to the restaurant level. 
• Utilize reservation systems (OpenTable & Resy) to manage bookings, coordinate seating arrangements, and accommodate special requests.
• Provide exceptional service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences.
• Ensure uniforms and the host area are always clean and presentable.
• Foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment for both, guests and staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in fine dining restaurants
• Experience with Front of House responsibilities relevant to the role Michelin-starred or  New York Times -rated restaurant experience is a plus
• Excellent presentation and professional demeanor.  
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Strong cleaning, maintenance, and organizational habits
• Eagerness to learn, improve, and grow within a hospitality-driven environment
• Full weekend availability
