Host

Upstairs at The Kimberly is a rooftop bar and lounge in Midtown Manhattan. We are hiring a Host to join our front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, set the tone for the visit
• Manage the reservation book in OpenTable, including waitlist and table status
• Control pacing across the floor
• Answer phone and inbound reservation inquiries, route event requests to the events team
• Maintain accurate wait times and guest notes
• Support large-party seating and table combinations during peak service
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management throughout service

Requirements

• 1+ year host or front-of-house experience
• OpenTable familiarity preferred
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Strong communication and composure in a high-volume environment
• Professional, guest-forward presence

Compensation and schedule

• $18.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience
• Schedule determined based on venue needs, part-time to full-time depending on volume
