About the Role
As the first and last face our guests see, the Hostess sets the tone for the Befikre experience: warm,
stylish, and effortlessly on top of the room. You'll manage the flow of a fast-paced, high-end dining and
bar concept while making every guest feel like they've arrived somewhere special.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, creating a strong first impression aligned with
Befikre's upscale brand.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the restaurant's reservation system.
• Accurately estimate wait times and communicate them clearly to guests.
• Strategically seat guests to balance server sections and optimize table turnover.
• Maintain an organized, updated floor plan throughout service.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth table transitions.
• Handle guest concerns at the door with grace, escalating to management when needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entryway.
• Support private events, large parties, and VIP reservations as needed.

Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience as a host/hostess in an upscale restaurant, lounge, or hospitality setting.
• Polished, professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during high-volume service.
• Familiarity with reservation and POS systems a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
