HostA Host is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests' first impression of the restaurant is a positive one.
Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, engaging with guests, maintaining knowledge of the menu, handling guest complaints, assisting with running food, guiding guests to their tables, taking to-go orders, ensuring guests are happy with food and service, refilling drinks, clearing plates, providing great customer service, and complying with all federal and state laws.Qualifications include one year of restaurant experience, organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to work well in a team environment, multitasking ability, and availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays. Must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations.
