Pops for Champagne , the nation's premier champagne bar located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, is seeking a hospitality-driven and security-minded individual to fill our hybrid Host / Security Specialist position.

We are looking for a professional who can seamlessly balance a warm, upscale guest welcome with a watchful eye for safety and environment control. You will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, setting a sophisticated tone for their evening while maintaining a secure, safe environment for everyone inside.

Key Responsibilities

Host & Hospitality Duties

• First Impression: Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a polished, professional demeanor.
• Reservation Management: Manage walk-ins and the waiting list efficiently using our reservation system.

Security & Safety Duties

• ID Verification: Strictly verify legal drinking age identification at the entrance.
• Environment Monitoring: Maintain a proactive visual sweep of the room to spot safety issues or over-intoxication.
• De-escalation: Handle guest disputes or behavioral issues calmly, professionally, and discreetly.
• Emergency Response: Act as a leader during emergencies, coordinating evacuations or medical calls if needed.
