Host

North Pond, a well-established fine dining destination in Lincoln Park with 28 years of history, is currently seeking a Host to join our team. Under the leadership of Chef John Brandon, and Pastry Chef Johan Rubio, we are committed to seasonal excellence and supporting local producers.

As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring a delightful guest experience. The ideal candidate is a professional team player with a strong desire to excel and a good sense of humor.
Key responsibilities include:

- Managing guest confirmations and detailing specific requests or dietary requirements.

- Tracking and responding to voicemails.

- Assisting with office work, including editing service documents and menus.

- Execute opening procedures, such as assigning the floor plan and ensuring the dining room and facilities are service-ready.

Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills via phone and email.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- The ability to multitask and make sound decisions with minimal guidance.

- Knowledge of the menu.
