Modern-Italian Brooklyn restaurant seeks a Host to join our team. We are looking for a warm, hospitable Host who is a disciplined, passionate professional to work alongside our Maitre d' and our FOH team to promote operational excellence in our restaurant. The perfect candidate will use their attention to detail, enthusiasm, knowledge of food + wine, and drive to further shape a positive guest experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Work in team-oriented, fast-paced, guest-facing environment
- As the Host is the first person in contact with guest you must provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service
- Assist guests with checking their coats & bags
- Assist with DoorDash/Caviar pickup at Take Out window
- Carry beverages on tray
- Coordinate with managers to ensure smooth flow of service
- Maintain a strong professional presence at the door, on the phone, and on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness + sanitization of tables and work space
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with SevenRooms and Resy
- Strong understanding of communication skills to build trusting relationships with colleagues and guests
- A positive, calm, and collected attitude
- A yearning to grow and learn
- Have a strong work ethic while leading by example
- Professional, business casual attire required
