Sanford Health is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join their Hospital Medicine department at Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Practice Info
- Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire is a Trauma Level III - 56 bed hospital with a 7-bed OPEN ICU.
- The scope of patients on the Hospitalist Service is broad, including medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients, Med Surg, ICU, and step-down units.
- Performing procedures is not a requirement.
- Physicians are strongly encouraged to be involved in medical education and research.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization.

Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts working 7am-7pm.
- Standard 7 on 7 off role.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current medical license in each state of practice.
- State Controlled Substance License (if required by State).
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada).
