Hospitalist

Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN, is seeking a Hospitalist to join their physician-led, collegial team. This role offers flexible practice options, including the possibility to combine with a Faculty or Outpatient role, and features manageable patient loads with APP support. Physicians will practice in a supportive environment within a regional referral center, utilizing Epic software and benefiting from a dedicated Physician Liaison.

Practice Info

• Hospitalist role can be combined with a Faculty Role or an Outpatient Role if desired
• Average 13-16 patients
• Specialists including PulmCC, GI, Urology, Ortho, Interventional Cardiology, IR, ID, Neuro, Nephrology, Gen Surg and more
• Established Hospitalist team of physicians with Advanced Practice Providers covering heaviest admission times
• Privileges can include Procedures if desired
• On-site ACGME accredited Indiana University School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency program

Responsibilities

• Practice Hospitalist Medicine
• Offer occasional Basic/Non-Complex Vent Management alongside 24-hour PulmCC team

Compensation

• Base $348,000 with added compensation for incentive shifts and quarterly quality bonus
• Loan Repayment: Negotiable
• Salary Range: $348,000 to $348,100 / Year

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time
• 7 on/7 off or other flexible block scheduling options

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• Graduation from a medical school or osteopathic school approved by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
• Completed a residency in general IM or Med-Peds approved by the ACGME or AOA
• ABMS/AOA Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of training completion
• Experience as a hospitalist strongly preferred
