Practice Info
- Hospital Medicine was established at Ochsner in 1992 with a stable 50+ member group
- Solo MD on shift with 1 APP
- Average census of 12-14 patients
- Open ICU but procedures are not required but you do ICU rounding
- E-ICU intensivist support with open ICUs at the community hospitals
- EPIC medical record system with remote access capabilities
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time day shift
- 7 on 7 off block schedule with flexibility
