About this role

We are searching for collaborative hospitalists to join an inpatient team rotating at Utah Valley Hospital.

Responsibilities

• This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus , relocation assistance based on distance, and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually, awarded for meeting quality goals, prudent stewardship of the healthcare system, and achieving high performance review standards in citizenship.
• Provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator.
• Participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to residents and medical students.
• As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
• Practice primarily at Utah Valley Hospital with regular rotations required at Spanish Fork Hospital and participate in the Tele-Hospitalist service.
• While this is classified as a day shift opportunity, a balance of swing and night shifts will also be necessary, though the majority of nights will be staffed by Nocturnists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
• Current BLS Certification required before the first day of employment.

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital, Provo, Utah.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Hourly range: $7.25 - $999.99 (actual rate depends on experience).
