Sound Physicians is seeking a physician leader to serve as a Co-Medical Director for their hospital medicine program at Clovis Community Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to practice clinically while providing strategic and operational leadership for a high-performing team of physicians and advanced practice providers. Practice Info
- Partner with a Co-Medical Director for a team of 30 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers
- Closed ICU environment
- Procedures are not required
- Utilize Epic EMR
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Co-Medical Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital medicine program
- Work alongside hospital executives and service line leaders to drive organizational initiatives and achieve hospital goals
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence
- Lead performance improvement efforts focused on length of stay, readmissions, patient safety, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance
- Represent the hospital medicine program on committees and interdisciplinary leadership teams
- Maintain an active clinical role caring for hospitalized patients
Compensation
- Annual compensation $375,000 + multiple incentive opportunities

Shift & Schedule
- Work between 5 and 8 clinical shifts per month, with a minimum commitment of 5 shifts
- Administrative time is spent at the hospital Monday-Friday

Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Prior hospital medicine leadership experience required
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build relationships, and drive quality outcomes
- Must live within the Community
