Sanford Health is seeking a part-time BC/BE Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join their Hospital Medicine department at Marshfield Medical Center - Weston in Weston, Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization within a Trauma Level 3 medical campus.
Practice Info
- Join the Hospital Medicine department at Marshfield Medical Center - Weston
- Average daily census of 15 patients on the Hospitalist Service
- Trauma Level 3 medical campus with a 99-bed, full-service hospital
- Open ICU
- Access to a large array of specialties onsite
- Performing procedures is not a requirement
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting
- Focus on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Coordinate of care with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization
Compensation

Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current medical license in each state of practice
- State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice
- BC in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or BC in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada)
