- Team of 6 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners.
- Dedicated team consists of two physicians and one APP during the day, and one physician Nocturnist at night.
- Covers the Emergency Department at Cedar Hill RMC.
- Closed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7.
- Works in Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) with access to an internal informatics platform.
Responsibilities
- Experience an average census of 16 patients with 1-2 admissions per day as a day hospitalist.
- Attend monthly team meetings to stay current on the latest medical developments.
Compensation
- The base salary for a full-time day hospitalist is $283,000/year, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth.
- Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- Day position hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
Requirements
- A Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- J1 visa sponsorship available.
