Hospitalist Physician

Sound Physicians is seeking a Hospital Medicine Swing Physician to join their team in Apple Valley, California. Practice Info

• Join a team of 17 hospitalists, including 3 Nurse Practitioners, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
• Work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• Sound Physicians Intensivists provide support to the hospitalist team.
• Work in an open ICU environment, though no procedures are required.
• Utilize Epic EMR, with access to Sound Physicians’ internal informatics platform for seamless patient management.

Compensation

• Compensation is based on the number of shifts worked.
• Full-time ranging from $330,000 - $340,000 per year.

Shift & Schedule

• Swing shift schedule is a 12-hour shift; 3p- 3a.
• Full-time: Average of 16 shifts per month.
• Part-time also available.

Requirements

• Internal medicine and family medicine candidates are eligible.
• Candidates must be board-certified or eligible with the expectation of obtaining certification.
• Ability to work with residents.
