Join the Alaska Hospitalist Group in Soldotna, Alaska, as a Hospital Medicine Physician. Practice Info

• Join an established team of 8 physicians, including three day hospitalists and one nocturnist.
• The team works autonomously to make decisions efficiently.
• The Alaska Hospitalist Group provides medical consultation for a wide variety of surgical services.
• Staffing model includes hospitalist services at Providence Alaska Medical Center, St. Elias Specialty Hospital, and Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Practice the full breadth of adult medicine, including general medical wards, surgical consults, and an open small ICU.
• Utilize E-ICU coverage at night.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Alaska.
• J1 visa sponsorship available through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Conrad 30.
