Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Highlands ARH Medical Center. You'll provide inpatient care within a supportive, integrated health system committed to improving health outcomes in southeastern Kentucky and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure coordinated care and smooth transitions.
• Manage acute medical conditions with evidence‑based protocols and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical education efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience preferred.
• Skilled in managing acute inpatient conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
• Committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a rural setting.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and community‑focused.
