Practice Info

• Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practitioner with the support of a practice coordinator at McLaren Port Huron Hospital.
• The team is actively engaged within the hospital, collaborating with leaders, managers, and staff to elevate the quality of patient care.
• The team has a footprint in 11 committees and consistently volunteers for quality improvement initiatives.
• Team meetings and internal staff meetings are held monthly.
• There is an open ICU with intensivist coverage.
• The team works with internal medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome the challenge of complex cases.
• Respond to all adult code blue and rapid-response events in the hospital.

Compensation

Shift & Schedule

• Hospitalists follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• The shifts are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• New internal medicine graduates, internal medicine residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
• H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available.
