Hospitalist Nocturnist

Join our Merrillville, Indiana team as a Hospital Medicine Physician, focusing on a nocturnist role. Practice Info

• Strong, collaborative team includes six physicians and two advanced practitioners.
• Clinical performance nurse supports high-quality patient care.
• Serve as the solo clinician at night, covering a 21-bed open ICU.
• Do not perform procedures, but do run codes and rapids.
• Admitting to the ICU, with consultation from an intensivist and specialty support available within minutes.
• Work with Epic as the EMR system and be cross-credentialed at our sister location in Gary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
• Serve as the solo clinician at night.
• Run codes and rapids.
• Admit to the ICU, consulting with an intensivist.
• Utilize Epic as the EMR system.

Compensation

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Indiana.
• Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule.
• H-1B visa sponsorship available.
