Hospitalist Physician (Nocturnist)

Practice Info

• Well-established team at Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound consisting of 8 physicians and one advanced practice provider (APP).
• Supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
• Integral part of the hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
• Focus on managing cases in an open ICU environment with on-call intensivist coverage.
• Average of 9-12 admissions at night with 10-15 cross coverage calls.

Responsibilities

• Work exclusively overnight shifts.
• Deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
• Manage cases in an open ICU environment with on-call intensivist coverage.

Compensation

• Day Shift Rate is $1450, and Night Shift Rate is $1753.
• Full-time nocturnist working 182.5 shifts per year with a base compensation of $319,923.
• Eligible for up to $20,000 from the RVU bonus and $20,000 from the Quality bonus (annual).

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time Nocturnists follow a 7-night-on, 7-night-off rotation.
• 12-hour shift, 7 pm-7 am.

Requirements

• Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule.
• Ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
