What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage at a Level 1 Birthing Center
- Manage obstetric patient encounters and deliveries (average of 15/month)
- Collaborate with hospital staff and backup teams for seamless care
- Support patient care during in-house anesthesia coverage 24/7
- Cover gynecological emergencies as needed
- Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system
- Participate in resident or family medicine shifts if applicable
What You Need
- Valid Mississippi medical license or willingness to obtain
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB training
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willing to obtain)
- Prior experience in hospital obstetrics preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
