Hospitalist Physician

Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS, is seeking a Hospitalist to join their dedicated team. Practice Info

• Join a close-knit team of 4 physicians and 3 APPs.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Open ICU with teleintensivists.
• No procedures but run codes and rapid response.

Responsibilities

• Round on patients with admissions.
• Help support the hospitalist team’s efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.
• Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.

Compensation

• Excellent annual compensation ranges from $354,000 to $374,000, with productivity and quality incentives.

• 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with flexibility for time off.

Requirements

• ABIM or ABFM certified.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs.
