We areseeking a Locums Hospital Medicine Physician for an ongoing opportunity inManchester, New Hampshire. This is a hospital-based position with flexiblecoverage needs across daytime, swing, and nocturnal shifts.

- Daily hospital census: approximately 140-160
- Approximately 25-30 admissions per 24 hours
- Diverse adult patient population
- Open ICU
- Average physician workload: 18-22 patients per day
- No procedures required
- No ventilator management required
- No call responsibilities
- Day Hospitalist: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Swing Shift: 5:00 PM-1:00 AM, with potential extension to 5:00 AM as volume increases
- Nocturnist: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Weekend coverage may be included based on scheduling needs.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospital medicine care.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients.
- Perform daily rounds and develop treatment plans.
- Manage admissions and coordinate patient care throughout hospitalization.
- Round in the open ICU as needed.
- Collaborate with consulting specialists and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active New Hampshire medical license
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
