Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join their collaborative team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers an opportunity to provide patient-first care within a vibrant community, focusing on seamless transitions and community health initiatives. Practice Info

• Join a close-knit team of 19 physicians at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Actively participate in community health initiatives.
• Our hospitalist team is trained in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, participating in rapid response and code teams.
• We use EPIC and have access to Sound’s informatics platform.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rapid response and code teams.

Compensation

• Expected annual 1099 compensation for the first year is $220,000-$240,000.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Work primarily day shifts, with approximately 2–3 night shifts per month.
• Part-time commitment also available.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with PCPs, specialists, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care and high patient satisfaction.
• Is business-minded, with an interest in learning and understanding the operational and financial aspects of a private practice hospitalist model.
• Has excellent documentation skills.
• Are flexible, open to feedback, and willing to embrace our approach to patient care and practice operations.
