- Provide comprehensive inpatient care across hospital settings
- Manage admissions, rounding, and discharges with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialists, nursing, and care management
- Support transitions of care and coordination with outpatient providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital-based programs
- Contribute to the development and growth of hospital medicine services
- Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety QualificationsEducation
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for hospitalists)
- Fellowship training for subspecialty roles such as PCCM or Palliative Care Licensure & Certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in applicable specialty
- Current MD/DO license (or eligibility) in South Carolina
- DEA license Experience & Skills
- Interest in inpatient care and hospital-based practice
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Interest in program growth and clinical leadership preferred
