Position Details:

• Drive-in preferred
• Looking for block and solo shifts
• 7 14 shifts per month and/or PRN coverage options
• Scheduled + No Call
• Locums will admit and round on patients
• Closed ICU
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days

Patient Population:

• Typically elderly patient population
• Rural, farm/family-oriented community
• Approximately 15 patients per day
• 7 10 admits per shift
• 4 6 rounds per shift
• No procedures

Setting:
Acute Care Hospital
140-bed hospital

Responsibilities:

• Admit patients
• Round on patients
• Manage approximately 7 10 admissions per shift
• Round on approximately 4 6 patients per shift

Required Procedures:

• No procedures required

EMR System:
Epic

Support Staff:

• Cross-cover APP shift beginning at 5:00 PM to assist with floor coverage and admissions
• Day model does not have APPs

Days Per Month:
7 14 shifts per month and/or PRN coverage options

On-Call/Weekends:
Scheduled + No Call

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Internal Medicine preferred; Family Medicine will be considered
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA required
• ACLS and BLS required
• NPDB self-query within 6 months of presentation
