- EMR System: EPIC
- Office Equipment Available: Standard L&D support equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Yes (private and employed OB/GYNs)
- Support Staff Available: RNs (EFM certified), APRNs/midwives, OB techs
- Credentialing Timeline: 3 months
- Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
- High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.)
- FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
- OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation
- Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
- Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
- VBAC's
- Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC or BE (Required)
- Licenses: Active OH License (eligibility considered)
- Certifications: BLS, EFM from NCC
- Manage low and high risk obstetric patients in labor and delivery setting.
- Perform routine and complicated vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Provide FHR interpretation and management of fetal distress.
- Supervise and collaborate with APRNs/midwives and nursing staff.
- Provide coverage for OB triage and emergency procedures.
