• License/Certifications: Active medical license in VA, Board Certified in OB/GYN (or eligible)
• Experience: Prior hospitalist and OB/GYN experience preferred

What You ll Do:

• Provide emergent OB/GYN care, primarily emergencies, in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with hospital team members, including anesthesiologists, MFM specialists, and ER physicians
• Cover approximately 72 deliveries per month, with a team managing duties
• Participate in patient assessments and emergent obstetric interventions
• Support hospital staff during complex deliveries and postpartum care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently

What You Need:

• Active medical license in Virginia or scheduled for licensing
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
• Minimum of 2 years hospitalist and obstetric experience
• Strong clinical skills in emergency obstetric care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position is with a leading facility in Christiansburg, VA, providing obstetric emergency coverage in a busy hospital environment. The facility handles an average of 72 deliveries monthly, with access to high-level NICU services available at the main hospital.
