Hospitalist Physician

Practice Info

• Join a team of 17 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Brockton Hospital.
• A dedicated site coordinator is assigned to the team to help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
• A clinical performance nurse assists in delivering an exceptional patient care experience.
• The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7, so procedures are not required.
• Practice geographic rounding when possible.
• Use Meditech and have access to an internal informatics platform.

Responsibilities

• Round and discharge patients.
• Participate in daily MDRs.
• Contribute to the rapid response and code team.
• Connect frequently over lunch to address concerns and receive updates on Sound and hospital matters.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Hospitalist hours are from 7am to 7pm.
• Entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician.
• Authorized to work in the United States or require H-1B visa support.
• Certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.
