The University of New Mexico is seeking a dedicated Daytime Hospitalist to join its well-established team in Albuquerque, NM. Practice Info
- Well-established team consisting of 14 physicians, 2 APPs, supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
- Academic hospital with a family medicine and internal medicine residency program.
- Nights are covered by a dedicated nocturnist and night APP.
- EMR is Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Work in a closed ICU with no procedures required.
- Manage an average of 18 patients per doctor.
- Participate as part of the rapid response team.
- Respond to codes that are run by the ICU team.
Compensation
- Day Shift Rate of $1829 and Night Shift Rate of $2,109.
- Daytime hospitalist yearly base pay is $333,793.
- Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus.
- Relocation allowance and sign-on bonus.

Shift & Schedule
- 7 on/off schedule, working 7 am-7 pm.
Requirements
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- Not currently accepting 2027 graduates for this role.
