Practice Info
- Join a cohesive team of 29 physicians and 4 APPs with clinical performance nurse support.
- Participate in hospitalist committees and QI projects.
- Cleveland Clinic Akron General is a 532-bed regional medical center.
- The hospital holds prestigious "Magnet" status.
- The ICU is closed, and no procedures or codes are required.
- Work with IM and FM residents from the Cleveland Clinic Akron General residency program.
Responsibilities
- Welcome the challenge of complex cases.
- Respond to codes on their patients.
- Teach IM and FM residents from the Cleveland Clinic Akron General residency program.
Compensation
- Comprehensive pay and perks.
Shift & Schedule
- Primarily day coverage and will provide swing-shift coverage.
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Swing shift: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- Hospitalists work approximately 4 weeks of swings annually.
Requirements
- Board-certified/board-eligible in internal medicine.
