The Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Rochester is seeking a Hospitalist. The provider will deliver comprehensive care to hospitalized patients as the attending of record and consultant, while also engaging in teaching, research, and quality improvement activities. This academic faculty position offers an opportunity to contribute to the clinical and academic excellence of Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and/or community service activities
- Provide care to hospitalized patients on the Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record
- Provide care to patients on other services as a Consultant
- Teaching of medical students and residents in the School of Medicine and Dentistry
- Engage in research activities to enhance academic career and hospital excellence
Compensation
- $207,000 - $266,999 a year
- Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable
Qualifications
- M.D. Degree or equivalent
- Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
- Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
- Must meet all credentialing requirements
- Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
- Open to visa sponsorship
