Local Team Collaboration
- Join our close-knit group of 12 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Brockton Hospital.
- We are fortunate to have a dedicated site coordinator assigned to this team who will help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Our clinical performance nurse will assist in delivering an exceptional patient care experience.
Qualifications
- Acute Care Board-certified nurse practitioner.
- Acute care experience is required. Pre-Admission Testing experience preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling
- Full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule.
- Shifts for the position are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the patient\'s current health, manage anesthesia risks, and optimize their condition for safe surgery.
- Review the patient\'s medical history, conduct physical exams, and order necessary tests.
- Identify and manage medical conditions that may impact surgical outcomes and collaborate with specialists when needed.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to surgeons, the anesthesiology team, and primary care providers to coordinate care.
- We use Meditech and have access to our internal informatics platform.
Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive salary of $150,000 with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth. This position qualifies for PTO.
