What You'll Do
- Provide acute medical care to adult hospitalized patients
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Examine patients upon admission and coordinate care
- Communicate with primary care providers
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and X-rays
- Follow up with patients' primary care doctors post-discharge
- Document patient encounters accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
What You Need
Required:- NY State License
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent hospitalist experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with EPIC
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced hospital settings
