Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (Day Shift) 7 on / 7 off – Leadership Role- CT

• Status: Full-time


• Shift: 12-hour blocks, 7am–7pm


• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off


• Location: Connecticut, near Hartford, CT (15 minutes from Hartford; 1 ½ hour from Boston, MA)

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services.


• Develop treatment plans, complete admissions from the ED, and dictate H&P examinations.


• Cross cover for the hospitalist team; dictate discharge summaries and procedure reports.


• Be comfortable with rapid response and code blue; ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Acute Care/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner with inpatient ICU/CCC experience.


• Experience with an independent panel of patients.


• Ability to work in a highly autonomous environment with excellent support.
