Hospitalist (Nocturnist)

Join our team in Wichita, Kansas, as a Daytime or Nocturnist Hospital Medicine Physician. This role at Via Christi St. Francis offers a collaborative environment with a close-knit team of 30 physicians and six APPs, focusing on providing exceptional care to the local community. Practice Info

• Join a team of 30 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs) at Via Christi St. Francis.
• The 360-bed hospital features an open ICU with intensivist support.
• Work in a large, shared office space supported by a multidisciplinary patient care model.
• The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• The hospital has an advanced structural heart program.
• A 24/7 PICC line/central line team is available.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide variety of cases at a large community-based hospital, including admissions and cross-coverage.
• Provide care for patients transferred from smaller rural hospitals requiring a higher level of expertise.
• Collaborate closely with residents, contributing to a teaching and mentorship environment.
• Work in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Utilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to an internal informatics platform.
• No procedures required.

Requirements
