About This Role

As a Hospitalist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide inpatient care at the designated hospital for Intermountain Health Care. You will oversee the patient’s care during their hospital stay, communicating with the primary care team and specialists every step of the way to ensure that the patient gets the care needed to return home safely.

Staffing Schedule & Patient Census

Practice location: Henderson Hospital. Dayshift coverage: Monday through Friday and every 3rd weekend.

• Average daily patient census: 17/day (age 65+)
• Weekend patient census: 20 plus any admissions
• Two hospitalists per practice location

What You’ll Bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline in Family or Internal Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Visa sponsorship is not available at this time

Salary & Compensation

Hourly range: $7.25 - $999.99 (actual hourly rate dependent upon experience)
