Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center is seeking a Medical Director to join their Hospitalist team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. - Well-established team of 4 physicians and 2 APPs, supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
- Part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico.
- Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center has 30 private inpatient beds and 20 ER beds.
- Hospitalists rotate through days and nights, with 1 MD and 1 APP on during the day, and 1 MD at night.
- Average encounters per doctor are 10-14 during the day and 2 admits on average at night.
- Open ICU with 6 beds.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through days and nights as a Hospitalist.
- Perform central lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
- Participate in the rapid response and code team.
- Participate in sepsis and stroke committees.
- Attend regular program manager, team, leadership, ER, and other meetings.
- Perform additional administrative duties.
Compensation
- Day shift rate of $1829 and night shift rate of $2109.
- Chief Stipend of $60,000/yr (paid monthly).
- Eligible for RVU and quality bonuses.
- Relocation bonus.
- $50,000 commencement bonus.

- 91 Nights: $191,919

Shift & Schedule
- 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotating schedule.
- Working a split of days and nights.

Requirements
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine only.
- Minimum of 1-year Medical Director experience or Associate Medical Director experience.
- Experience leading a committee.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
