• Provide Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital Medicine.
• Team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
• Provide inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.

Responsibilities

• Lead our local team of 5 Hospital Medicine physicians.
• Actively participate in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
• Provide clinical oversight for the team.
• Build strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership.
• Provide inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.

Compensation

• Annual compensation $365,000 + incentives.

Shift & Schedule

• Flexible scheduling is available.
• Medical Director works an average of 12 clinical shifts a month.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.
• Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist back up.
• Must be comfortable with vent management.
• Prefer at least 1-2 years of hospitalist experience.
• Prefer previous leadership experience.
