This full-time role involves managing patient care, handling daytime rounding, evening admitting, and night shifts across various ICU settings. Candidates will work within a recognized healthcare system dedicated to serving the community with high-quality inpatient and outpatient services.

- Madison: Closed ICU
- Janesville: 4-bed open ICU with 24/7 eICU capabilities
- 440-bed hospital that offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient treatment and diagnostic services
- American College of Surgeons-verified Level II Trauma Center, a Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, and has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Responsibilities
- Manage an average census of 14-15 patients, typically 1 admission per rounding shift
Shift & Schedule
- Daytime Rounding Shifts: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday-Sunday)
- Evening Admitting Shifts: 8-hour shifts with start times ranging from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Night Shifts: 10:30 pm - 7:30 am
- Up to 50% of shifts will be nights
- Rounding shifts typically occur in blocks of 5-7 days, with Monday as the switch day
- Full-Time Position: 200 shifts annually
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted WI medical license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
