Hospitalist ICU Capable

Jackson and Coker is seeking an ICU-capable Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting September 2026 for at least three months. This role involves 7on/7off shifts with a mix of on-site day shifts and night call. The position requires experience in respiratory and critical care procedures, working within a dedicated ICU team.

Practice Info

• 100% IP based
• Model is 1 ICU HM Physician, 2 daytime APPs, and 1 nighttime ICU APP to partner with hospitalists on 7on/7off
• EMR: Epic

Shift & Schedule

• 7on/7off ongoing starting September 2026 expected for at least three months
• One day of orientation required prior to start date
• 7a-7p on-site and 7p-7a call with 30min response time
• 2-3 days of proctoring

Requirements

• Board Certification preferred, will consider Board Eligible
• AHA ACLS
• Active MI license or IMLC with LOQ
• Must supply case logs reflecting 50 cases in the last 12 months
• Inpatient Only
• Must be Respiratory/Critical Care experienced with procedures
