- $200/hour
- Fredericksburg, TX - one hour from San Antonio and just over an hour from Austin.
- Full-time hospitalist coverage 7on/7 off
- Day shifts with rotating weekends
- Open ICU
- No procedures required
- Respond to codes with ER support
- Average daily census of approximately 20-24 patients, shared with an APP
- Night-call support for a nocturnist APP
- Med/Surg telemetry unit
- Open ICU that primarily functions as an intermediate-care setting
- Specialty support includes GI, Urology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Infectious Disease, and Neurology
- Hospitalists assist with postoperative medical management for orthopedic patients
- Inpatient hospice coverage may be included, with an emphasis on continuity of care and advance care planning
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Texas medical license or eligible for Texas licensure
- Comfortable practicing in an open-ICU environment
- Strong communication and collaborative care skills
