### HospitalistDeaconess Health SystemActiveEvansville, INFull TimePosted July 16, 2026### Job DescriptionLocation: Deaconess Hospital (Gateway, Midtown, Henderson)• There are a total of 53+ employed Hospitalists in the group• Program was started approximately 23 years ago• Shifts are 12 hours in length• Shift available (8a - 8p)• 180 shifts/year (full-time), 15 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling• Average # of admissions:• Gateway: 14-16 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 8pm and Round Robin admissions from 8am-4pm• Midtown: 16-18 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 8pm• Henderson: 10-14 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 7pm and round robin admissions from 7am-3pm• Two Nocturnists per night at Midtown and Gateway; 8p-8a• One Nocturnists per night at Henderson; 7p-7a• Referral base includes ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers• Robust subspecialty support• Procedures not required### Position DetailsSpecialtyHospitalist### Contact ### Apply for this PositionApply directly on the employer's website
