This position combines inpatient hospital medicine with physician education, allowing you to care for hospitalized patients while mentoring Family Medicine residents and helping shape the next generation of physicians. POSITION OVERVIEW

This physician will provide comprehensive inpatient care while serving as Core Faculty for a Family Medicine Residency Program. Responsibilities include caring for general medical and surgical patients, working within an open ICU environment, participating in surgical co-management, and providing resident and medical student education with strong specialist support readily available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Hospitalist services
• Manage approximately 18 patients per day
• Teach and mentor Family Medicine residents
• Participate in medical student education
• Manage patients in an open ICU environment
• Provide surgical co-management
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines
• Maintain timely clinical documentation while delivering high-quality patient care

COMPENSATION

• Approximately $135/hour based on experience
• Higher compensation available for experienced physicians

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine REQUIRED
• Ability to Practice Inpatient Hospital Medicine REQUIRED
• Comfortable Managing an Open ICU REQUIRED
• Experience with Surgical Co-Management REQUIRED
• Interest in Resident Education and Mentorship REQUIRED
• Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills REQUIRED
• Collaborative Team-Based Practice REQUIRED
• Previous Academic or Faculty Experience Preferred
