AdventHealth Apopka is seeking a dynamic and hardworking board-certified Family or Internal Medicine trained physician to join their existing inpatient practice as a Hospitalist. This clinical-only role is affiliated with the Allopathic Family Medicine residency and emphasizes evidence-based, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will contribute to a team dedicated to providing comprehensive inpatient services within a supportive community hospital setting.
Practice Info
- Physician will join an existing inpatient practice affiliated with the Allopathic Family Medicine residency but will serve in a clinical only role.
- A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care.
- AdventHealth Apopka is an acute-care 120 bed community hospital located in Orange County, just a short drive from Orlando, Florida.
- We provide a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services, ranging from critical care to specialized emergency medicine.

Shift & Schedule
- 7 on/7 off work schedule
- Day shifts, 1pm - 11pm

Requirements
- Board-certified Family or Internal Medicine trained physician
- Experience in hospitalist medicine (ideal candidate)
- Strong communication skills (ideal candidate)
- Fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth (ideal candidate)
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not necessary
- No visa sponsorship available
