Job Details

• Position Type: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (Travel SLP)
• Setting: Hospital-based speech therapy with outpatient and acute care exposure
• Location: Duncan, Oklahoma
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 - $1,940
• Patient Population: Newborn to geriatrics
• Charting System: Meditech preferred
• Case Mix: Speech, language, feeding, swallowing, and neuro-related disorders

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active Oklahoma SLP license or compact license eligibility
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• Experience with inpatient or outpatient swallowing evaluations preferred
• Meditech experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Provide therapy for a broad range of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, sensory disorders, food aversions, CVA, Parkinson's disease, Bell's palsy, and DiGeorge syndrome
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies
• Support AAC users through assessment and treatment planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and interpretation services
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain high standards of clinical care
• Help patients and families improve communication, safety, and quality of life
