Job Description

What you will be doing:

• Oversee the ongoing and effective operation of various patient safety and risk management activities.
• Perform and oversee claim management functions including investigation and analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments for new services.
• Perform root cause analysis for the system including action plan tracking and facilitation.
• Manage the Patient Safety Council and integrate the corporate TERM program into the overall risk management program.
• Collaborate with department directors and the executive team to implement corporate and facility risk reduction strategies.
• Provide expertise regarding regulatory and compliance standards and processes.
• Engage in data analysis, reporting, and education.
• Provide leadership and be accountable for related activities.

Experience you will need

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is required.
• Two (2) to Five (5) years of Risk Management experience; acute care experience preferred.
• Must have leadership experience in a hospital setting.
• Senior management experience is required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
